Starting salary
£25,250 per annum full time, rising to £26,000 per annum after successful probation
Full time preferred but 30 hours per week considered
Key responsibilities are:
- Working with individuals on a one-to-one basis in the community, to identify their aspirations, the unique skills they have and match those with local employers to ultimately secure paid work
- Engage with clients and their circle of support
- Creating or working to client development plans
- Provide travel training
- Liaising with employers to fill vacant positions and support their quest for a diverse work force
Profile
The successful candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills, energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to use varied IT systems and to record interactions accurately and concisely on our Salesforce CRM system
- Good organisational skills with the ability to balance the needs of clients, employers and us!
- A resilient and pragmatic approach to dealing with people and occasionally challenging situations
- A knowledge of disability or HR procedures would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given on a range of disabilities eg. Autism, Learning Disabilities etc.
- Full UK driving licence with daily access to a car
is essential and a successful enhanced DBS would be required (paid for by us)
- Most importantly a sense of humour, someone who share our
values and wants to make a real difference to someone’s life
Job Offer
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro-rata for part time) + a unique opportunity to buy or sell up to 1 week.
