Clients return to work at Legoland® Windsor Resort

Happy faces all round

There will be many local children and families we are sure, that will be very happy indeed that the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort has now reopened after such a long period of closure due to Covid.  Ways into Work has been working with Legoland Windsor for over 12 years supporting many clients into paid positions there and several of these clients return to the park year after year when it re-opens every spring.

It was really lovely to see our clients’ happy faces as they were finally able to return to work – 21 of them working in a variety of roles in food and beverage, admissions and ground operatives.  Most notably, in fact one client has been employed there for 11 years – there’s employee loyalty for you!

As usual some of our Job Coaches will be popping in to make sure all is running smoothly, often vying for the opportunity to do so – it’s such a lovely place to visit.

Ashonte's hard work and positive attitude are inspiring! ✨ A huge thank you to M&S, Royal Berks, who have supported many young people year after year. This year they are providing Ashonte with this amazing opportunity and once again helping us to break down the barriers for young people with a disability in gaining employment. A huge thank you to Marks and Spencer's for their commitment to empowering young people with barriers to employment by helping them develop the skills they need. Want to see Ashonte in action?
